Besides SLU being a top 10 division 1 college for soccer, a great academic institution, and having a very supportive soccer community, it is Jesuit Catholic. Compared to some of the secular colleges I was considering, this was important to me and my family who are very faithful to the church. St. Francis Xavier Church was absolutely beautiful and amazing!
